Month of May 2023: Time investments in review
As we can see, sleep has increased (expected as winter calls for hibernation), but it could have been hedged against. I forgive myself, but come on, it's not as if I couldn't have done it. I can do it—I do not need 10 hours of sleep a day. I need to stop shooting myself in the foot and make better choices.
Linux has been replaced with reading, which is okay, but ideally, Linux as a service to others and myself should remain high.
Writing still remains the third most common activity and has increased compared to April, which is good.
Walking has increased due to efforts to reduce driving as much as possible. I choose to walk during the day or evening instead of driving to the supermarket.
"Trying or setting up" has increased, and I'm actually okay with it because it's related to changes and adjustments to the new job.
Time spent on food has decreased considerably, which is amazing. It could be because Dad started to help, or it could be because, after some experimentation, we realized that spending massive amounts of money on food is not the solution to our food problems. Eating what is in the fridge is the solution. Cooking it and walking to the market to buy food for the day is better than ordering Uber Eats all the time. Apparently, it is also more time cost-effective.
Time spent on activities that are not "awesome win-win" with other people is less than March, though apparently similar to April. I will look into this later.
I have been really sick in the month of May this year. This is due to the changing weather and sleeping habits, as well as tiredness from walking, trying, and setting up with new people. In retrospect, it seems forgivable.
Time spent on Chinese classes has increased in May, and I am okay with it. We have made some gains, and I am happy with our progress.
In conclusion
- I should continue to write more than or atleast as much as I read, to be wiser, and make better decisions
- Turn up the valve on Programming and Linux, be helpful and useful to others
- Take care of my health and body , Focus on preventing Sickness, try to hedge against excessive sleep, poor sleep pattern
